Alter Enterprise Educational Outreach
Developing the classroom of the future.

In partnership with Blackfoot Telecommunications, Alter Enterprise has developed a wildlife educational trunk. This trunk can be checked out at the Natural History Center by local schools to use in their classrooms. The trunk includes:

• Technology driven Curriculum – over 20 lessons based around Language Arts, Art, Math, and Science
• Animal skulls
• Animal track molds
• Resource books, field guides and animal stories
• Bird songs, identification games and pictures
• Binoculars
• Wildlife stamps and activities
• Wildlife camera to be used outside the class room to capture real photos of local animals to be studied in class along side the included curriculum
• Field trip ideas
• And much more!

The goal of this trunk is to integrate technology and biology. By using actual data collected from wildlife cameras in Montana, students are able to see real, up to date images of the animals covered in the curriculum instead of solely relying on textbooks. The future of education lies in interactive learning and our program is bringing cutting edge tools to teachers. These tools will help educate a new generation of students who know about and care for the natural environment.
